I’m sure a lot of you have heard of Acai bowls before (or most likely seen them pop up on travel bloggers’ aesthetic Instagram feeds), and wondered, ‘what is an acai bowl and why are they so damn popular?‘ Well, for those of you who are newcomers to the craze, an acai bowl is basically like a thick smoothie you eat with a spoon, made with acai puree (a tropical palm fruit) and then topped with fresh fruit, cereal, you name it.
Today after 2 months in South America I’m finally heading back to England! While I’m looking forward to heading home Peru has been, without a doubt, one of my favourite countries I have ever visited, these last two weeks filled with so many unforgettable moments and experiences. I don’t feel different necessarily, but I feel like a better, truer version of myself. Definitely a happier one. So, without further ado, I thought I’d share a few things that I am going to miss about Manizales, Colombia:
