7 London desserts guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth

Unfortunately I haven’t had much time to be active on here lately as my life has been consumed by final year university work and dissertations – but at last, I managed to squeeze in some time to write a new article for The National Student! It is about one of my favourite things in the world, desserts, and where you can find the best ones in London (your teeth won’t thank you but your heart will). Check out an excerpt below:

A truly comprehensive guide of every dessert in London could probably wrap around the city itself. Instead, here is a selection of some of the quirkiest and most delicious sugary delicacies that are a must on your next trip to the capital.

1. Naked Dough

Following the cookie dough trend that skyrocketed in the US, Naked Dough is the UK’s first cookie dough café which, in its few years of existence, has taken London by storm. 6 best places to spend New Year in the UK

A little delayed as I forgot to put this up here with all the Christmas craziness but better late than never – my new article for the National Student! All of these places are still amazing to visit year round, or you know, you can always start planning next New Year’s early. Here’s an excerpt:

“Christmas is almost upon us so it’s time to start thinking about how you’re going to ring in the New Year. Luckily, you don’t need to go far or spend big to have a fantastic New Year’s Eve, as the UK has some of the best celebrations and destinations in the world, whether you want to start 2018 raging or relaxing. London will always be close to our hearts but there are so many other places in the UK to have an incredible New Year’s Eve worth noting.

Here are some of the most weird and wonderful New Year’s destinations:

  1. Edinburgh

Scotland’s capital comes to life at this magical time of year with Hogmanay, a three-day celebration from the 30th December to the 1st January. Bundle up, wander the city’s streets in full festive swing and enjoy the many events, from the torchlight procession to the New Year’s Eve ‘Concert in the Garden’ (headlined this year by Lily Allen)…”
